Jonathan M. Harris's film and video work has been screened at more than twenty film festivals nationwide including the San Francisco Documentary Festival, the Brooklyn Arts Council Film Festival and the Atlanta Film Festival. He was the Post-Production Supervisor for "The Adventures of Ociee Nash" (distributed by Twentieth Century Fox), and the director of the feature-length musical, "Last Ride," which appeared at film festivals nationwide. He is also the director of six notable short films including the documentary "Treasure Hunters," which screened at more than a dozen film festivals nationwide, won Best Documentary Short at the F4 Film Festival in Massachussetts, and received three other nominations. He produced "C-47: Georgia's Short Film Showcase" which was broadcast statewide on Georgia Public Broadcasting in an effort to draw attention to filmmaking in Georgia. As a producer for the World War II Veterans Oral History Project he managed a team which taped and edited interviews with more than 150 veterans across Georgia. Before working in film and video, Jonathan was a staff writer for the Atlanta Journal Constitution and his essays and feature stories have appeared in Creative Loafing, Chelsea, and International Living. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Digital Filmmaking and Art from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from Davidson College.
